From mid-November through the end of the year, The Source Weekly and the Bend-based crowd-sourcing website “What if We Could” launched a campaign to raise money for local nonprofits.
And the results blew everyone away.
The original goal was $25,000. After one week they adjusted that to $50,000. And when it was all said and done six weeks later, $580,000 had been raised.
