University May Struggle to Hold Students in the Future


Currently, OSU-Cascades has 1,200 students, but that number could grow to as many as 5,000 by 2025. To keep up with that projected growth, university officials requested $69 million in bonds from the state to expand the campus, including a second academic building.

As Central Oregon Daily’s Mackenzie Wilson reports, those plans may be delayed after state lawmakers revealed their latest funding plan for higher education.
