Two Bend men have been arrested following an armed robbery at a convenience store parking lot on Sunday, according to police.
Bend Police Lt. Adam Juhnke said officers responded to a reported armed robbery near NE Butler Market Road and NE Doss Road around 7:41 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday. Officers were able to identify 21-year-old Xadde Chisolm as a person of interest and confirm he was there during the robbery. Officers said two 17-year-olds were robbed at a parking lot nearby.
Bend Police detectives along with the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team and Sunriver Police Department were able to determine Chisolm and a second suspect, 18-year-old Cole Speirs conspired together to commit the robbery, Juhnke said.
The two were contacted in Speirs’ vehicle around 3:15 on Wednesday, arrested and taken to jail. Juhnke said evidence from the robbery was recovered during the arrest.
Both men were charged with first-degree robbery, menacing, unlawful use of a weapon and other charges.
