▶️ UPDATE: OSP Identifies Victims in Deadly Hwy. 126 Crash


The Oregon State Police on Wednesday identified the three victims in a single-car fatal crash on Highway 126 near Eagle Crest on Tuesday.

According to a release, the preliminary investigation revealed that a 2011 Toyota Venza, operated by 69-year-old Kenneth Vaughn of Redmond, was traveling westbound on the highway when for an unknown reason it veered off the road and struck large rocks at a driveway access.

Kenneth Vaughn and his passengers  63-year-old Sheryl Vaughn of Redmond and 33-year-old April Vaughn sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Dispatch was called about 11:30 a.m. to the intersection of 126 and Eagle Crest Boulevard, eight miles west of Redmond.

The highway was partially closed for about 90 minutes while OSP investigated the crash. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
