Ten people were arrested Sunday in Madras during an early morning drug bust, according to police.
Sgt. Mel Brown said there had been numerous complaints from neighbors about the flow of traffic and possible narcotics sales at a house at 525 SE 10th St. Madras Police with the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team opened an investigation that led to a search warrant being obtained and executed.
Madras Police officers were joined by members of the CODE Team and Central Oregon Emergency Response Team as they served the warrant about 7 a.m.
In all, 10 people were arrested on a slew of charges including unlawful possession of meth, frequenting where a controlled substance is being used, resisting arrest and probation violations.
The suspects arrested were Richard L. Christopher, Rebecca Adams, Adam G. Rubio, Wilma Baza, Dylan A. Mendez, Semaj J. Blackman, Semaj J. Blackman, Jr., Elizabeth Boardman, Mercedes T. Smith and Anthony M. Hernandez.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges and arrests are pending, Brown said.
