***UPDATE ON SATURDAY – Summit High School Cross Country Girls are National Champions after winning the Nile Cross Nationals in Portland in Saturday morning***
The Summit High School Girls’ Cross-Country team has been ranked Number One in the country for the past month, but on Saturday, they get a chance to win that top spot at the national competition in the Portland area.
Central Oregon Daily’s Eric Lindstrom caught up with three of the runners before they left town for their title shot.
For the second year in a row, a robotics team from Summit High School is competing in the world championships in Texas this week.
Central Oregon Daily’s Anyssa Bohanan caught up with them before they left town and has highlights from Thursday’s matches.
The team will compete in six matches on Friday morning starting at 6:33 AM PT.
