Bend Photographer Donates Her Time and Skills to a “Super” Cause

When kids grow out of their clothes, and their parents can’t afford new ones, or when a family is living in their care and struggling to feed themselves, Family Access Network is there. Since the nonprofit started in Central Oregon in 1993, it’s helped more than 100,000 children and their families.

Central Oregon Daily’s Mackenzie Wilson introduces us to Michelle Bauer, an everyday hero who, with the click of her camera, is finding her own way to give back to the organization that does so much for so many across the High Desert.

Year-round Need for Family Access Network

Mikaela Rickards, donor relations and events coordinator for Family Access Network, joined us to tell us what F.A.N. does daily for area children in need, whether they need a hot meal, warm clothes or school supplies. Mikaela also updated us on the Circle of Giving Campaign, as they continue to collect warm coats for kids through the holiday season.  For more information visit Family Access Network at: familyaccessnetwork.org.
