Central Oregon Daily’s Anyssa Bohanan joined us with a sneak peek behind 2nd Street Theater‘s newest production. The play isn’t all about chocolate and roses, but it is a treat for all the romantics out there. After meeting on the 2nd Street Theater stage during their first production together, actors Todd and Amber fell in love and got married and now, they are telling the love story between characters Melissa and Andy in the play, “Love Letters.”

You can see “Love Letters” on Saturday night or Sunday afternoon as well as a special performance on Valentines Day. For more information or to buy your tickets, go to the 2nd Street website at 2ndstreettheater.com.

Source on the Scene: CTC Presents “A Christmas Carol”

We talk with Cascades Theatre Company director Kelly Dolan Ryan about the production of “A Christmas Carol.” This spirited adaptation of the classic Christmas tale will surely make for a lively holiday season. Charles Dickens himself narrators Ebenezer Scrooge’s magical night’s journey as he visits his past, present, and future before discovering life’s true gifts. The play runs from Dec. 1-17, 2017.
