It’s a good weekend for music. The Bend Camerata, a group founded by local music educators, will be performing their musical journey called “This Is Us” at Wille Hall on the COCC campus Saturday at 7 pm and Sunday at 3 pm on Sunday.

Learning Through Music

“The sound of human potential.” That’s the tagline for Cascade School of Music, the nonprofit music school that has been working to transform lives and enrich our community by providing exceptional music education and experiences for all Central Oregonians since 2002.

Get your tickets now, before April 6th, for a reduced price to attend the school’s upcoming benefit “The Gift of Music,” an evening of engaging music, dinner and unique auction packages. The event is on May 6th at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on Skyline Ranch Road. 75% of tickets sales go directly to the nonprofit school. Larry and His Flask have been bringing their high-energy live performances to Central Oregon and the entire nation for over a decade and for one night only, New Years Eve, they’re bringing it to their hometown fans right here in Bend. Source on the Scene: Bend Roots Revival

The Bend Roots Revival is a grass roots community events that brings in local acts from all genres of music that perform on seven different stages between the Arts Station and Deschutes Brewery Warehouse.

Central Oregon Daily’s Chris Biggs met up with returning act and local favorite Honey Don’t at the Music Maker’s stage to give you a sample of what’s to come this weekend.

Clear Summer Nights Kicks Off July 11 with UB40

The Athletic Club of Bend is yet again the setting for the Clear Summer Nights concert series. The 2017 line-up includes UB40, kicking off the series July 11th as well as the John Butler Trio, American Idol winner Phillip Phillips and Indie Rockers, The Shins. All Seasons RV & Marine Clear Summer Nights 2017 Concert Series presented by Northwest Brain and Spine at the Athletic Club of Bend is starting in July. The concert line up is as follows:

Phillip Phillips – September 19
The Shins – September 26
