Update as of 4 p.m.:
Around noon, the Central Oregon Major Incident Team was called in to investigate a officer-involved use of force in Madras.
No officers were injured during the incident, according to Jefferson County District Attorney Steven Leriche. 30-year-old Jordan Abbe of Madras sustained minor injuries and was treated at St. Charles. Abbe was then arrested for second degree attempted assault, attempted assault of a public safety officer, attempt to elude a police officer, unlawful use of a weapon and reckless driving.
The Oregon State Police is leading this investigation, which is still ongoing.

NE Oak Street in Madras, between NE 12th and 16th, was closed off to traffic Wednesday afternoon for a law enforcement investigation, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.
Undersheriff Marc Heckathorn said the road will be closed through Wednesday evening.
The closure doesn’t impact anyone using Oak Street to access St. Charles in Madras, but access to Chinook Place Senior Living and the Morning Crest subdivision is impacted.
