▶️ Redmond School District begins search for new superintendent

After eight years at the helm, Redmond School District Superintendent Mike Macintosh is retiring at the end of the school year.

It’s a professional life that has come full circle for Macintosh, having attended Redmond schools as a kid and graduating from Redmond High in 1981.

The school board interviewed three separate headhunter firms last month and will pay Hank Harris of Portland-based Human Capital Enterprises $22,800 to run the search.

Central Oregon Daily’s Dalton Roth has more on the search process and what school board members are hoping to see in a candidate.
