A Redmond man was arrested on multiple charges Wednesday morning after the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team (CERT) surrounded the location he was at.
Redmond Police say the 35-year-old was identified as a perpetrator of an assault in which he allegedly to take the victims property and injured the victim in the process.
The suspect was reached by phone Monday in an attempt to turn himself in, but police said the suspect then made threats of violence towards the victim and law enforcement.
Police say the suspect was found Wednesday morning around 7:00 a.m. in the area of SW Quartz Ave and SW 21st Street. CERT surrounded the location and the suspect agreed to surrender, according to police.
The suspect, who was not identified, was taken to the Deschutes County Jail on charges of assault, domestic violence, coercion, contempt of court, robbery and violating a no contact order, police said.
