Rumors of violent protests related to the transition of power Wednesday continue – and in Crook County, the courthouse will close as a safety precaution.
The court administrator sent out an email Tuesday saying the closure is due to the potential for civil unrest in Prineville.
Deschutes County courts are expected to remain open.
