The Environmental Protection Agency has awarded Oregon State University $2 million to clean up the former Deschutes County Construction and Demolition landfill. It’s 72 acres located next to the OSU-Cascades campus in Bend.
The site has been part of a future expansion for the college for years.
OSU bought the landfill for $1.
