Interstate 84 was closed in eastern Oregon eastbound between Exit 216 (six miles east of Pendleton) and Exit 265 east of La Grande, and closed westbound between Exit 302 in Baker City and Exit 216 Thursday morning. The interstate was back open by noon.
The Oregon Department of Transportation said the closures were due to multiple truck crashes and icy conditions east of Pendleton.
I-84 westbound was also closed to commercial trucks in Ontario at Exit 374 due to limited truck parking space in Baker City and La Grande.
The route was expected to be closed for several hours. OR 204 (Tollgate Hwy.) was also closed.
