Oregon surpasses 20,000 COVID cases; 23 new reported in Central Oregon

The Oregon Health Authority on Thursday reported 267 new and presumed cases of COVID-19 sending the statewide total to 20,225.

One new death brings that total to 339.

The new cases reported today are in the following counties: Baker (1), Benton (1), Clackamas (22), Clatsop (1), Columbia (4), Coos (1), Crook (1), Deschutes (12), Douglas (5), Grant (1), Jackson (16), Jefferson (10), Josephine (2), Lane (12), Linn (3), Malheur (19), Marion (33), Morrow (1), Multnomah (45), Polk (4), Sherman (1), Umatilla (27), Wasco (6), Washington (30), and Yamhill (9).

Deschutes County’s 12 new cases bring its total to 567; 380 have recovered.

Crook County adds one for 43 cases while Jefferson County’s 10 new cases bring its total to 341.

St. Charles on Thursday reported eight COVID patients; three were in the ICU and two are on ventilators.

More than 412,000 Oregonians have tested negative for COVID.
