100 pounds of crystal meth seized in Oregon traffic stop

Crystal Meth seizure Douglas County OSP

Oregon State Police said a traffic stop in Douglas County last week led to the seizure of 100 pounds of methamphetamine.

OSP said that on Thursday afternoon, a K-9 team stopped a vehicle on Interstate 5 for a traffic violation. The K-9 sniffed the outside of the vehicle and picked up the scent of drugs.

A search of the vehicle revealed the crystal meth in the trunk, OSP said.

The driver and passenger, both from San Bernardino, Calif., were arrested.
