Oregon COVID death toll nears 200; 146 new cases reported Monday

The Oregon Health Authority on Monday reported 146 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 7,083.

Two new deaths bring that total to 192.

The new confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases reported today are in the following counties: Benton (2), Clackamas (15), Deschutes (4), Douglas (1), Hood River (1), Jackson (1), Jefferson (1), Lane (4), Lincoln (6), Marion (47), Morrow (1), Multnomah (17), Umatilla (11), Union (5), Wasco (1), Washington (27), and Yamhill (2).

Deschutes County is now reporting 147 cases; 136 of the patients have recovered.

Crook County reports nine cases and Jefferson County reports 79 cases.

Over the weekend, OHA reported 178 new cases on Saturday and 190 new cases on Sunday.

Nearly 200,000 Oregonians have tested negative for the disease.
