The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed one person died in a car crash on Highway 97 on Tuesday.
A car and a semi-truck collided near Bear Drive five miles south of Madras, according to JCSO.
Both lanes were closed on Highway 97 as of around 2 p.m. No further information is available at this time.
