New Law Could Legalize “Idaho Stop” for Oregon Cyclists

Despite the chaos happening in Salem, Oregon lawmakers passed a new bill this week. The bill will allow bike riders to “roll through” stop signs instead of coming to a complete stop. It’s known as the Idaho stop named for Idaho, which was the first state to pass a similar law.

Central Oregon daily’s Anyssa Bohanan spoke with a local cyclist today about what the new bill could mean for bikers on the road should it become law.
