An afternoon interrupted by a case of suspected arson at Crown Villa RV Park.

“They had doused the fire by the time I had walked out.”

James Warren was headed to church around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

That’s when he saw a neighboring RV up in flames.

“I thought there was gunfire. So when I came out of the house, I thought they had somebody over there that had drugs or something,” Warren said. “But then I saw that there were almost all firetrucks.”

That RV is owned by 59-year0old Bryan Dale Lindley and nd his estranged wife.

Just last Thursday Lindley was released from jail after a December arrest for assault, strangulation and coercion involving his estranged wife.

And is now he is suspected of arson

Another neighbor I talked to had concerns about Lindley living in close proximity of children and senior citizens.

As for Warren, he’s not losing sleep over Sunday’s fire.

“I have had nothing but good experience living here, so I don’t know about the negative things,” he said. “Besides, I don’t live in a negative world.”

According to Bend Police, after setting fire to the motorhome Lindley left the RV park in a silver 1999 Nissan Pathfinder and he has still not been found.
