The recent snowfall has gifted skiers and boarders feet of powder. But with the snow is an important reminder about tree wells and very real danger they pose, even for those who are prepared.
One video shared last week from Washington state’s Mount Baker shows that scary reality as a skier just happened to spot a snowboarder face down in a tree well and was able to rescue him.
