A La Pine woman and her three children missing since Monday were found alive and well, today, in Idaho.

On Wednesday, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s office asked for the public’s help in locating 30-year-old Tricia Jepsen of La Pine and her three children, ages 11, 3 and 1. Investigators believe she was with 52-year-old Patrick Garcia, reportedly Jepsen’s estranged husband.

“Yesterday morning, her mom and brother reported her missing after having no contact with them since Monday,” said Sgt. William Bailey of the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office. “Detectives and deputies worked throughout yesterday following up on leads and information. They were able to determine that they were at the Redmond Walmart on Tuesday and then in Bend yesterday morning where they have her, the children and Mr. Garcia on video surveillance.”

Police say they wanted to make sure Jepsen and her children were safe.

She has a restraining order against 52-year-old Garcia. He has a record of menacing, harassment and coercion, dating back more than 20 years.

Central Oregon Daily News was at Jepsen’s apartment complex when she called a friend to say she and her children were safe.

Garcia was arrested in Idaho County, for violation of a restraining order.

At this time, investigators believe Jepsen went willingly with Garcia.
