A Michigan woman is in the hospital after crashing her dirt bike near Prineville Saturday evening.
According to police, 29-year-old Danielle Dillon was reportedly riding a dirt bike up Forest Service Road 2610 off Highway 26 when she lost control and crashed at around 7:30 p.m.
She was riding at roughly 25 miles per hour and was reportedly not wearing a helmet.
Dillon’s friends and family, who were riding with her at the time, took her to a vehicle and started driving her to Prineville.
Crook County Sheriff’s Office deputies and medics from Crook County Fire & Rescue met the vehicle and took Dillon the rest of the way to St. Charles Prineville.
Her current status is unknown.
Deputies reported that she was likely under the influence at the time of the incident.
She was cited and released in lieu of custody on the charge of DUII.
