A Madras woman is accused of biting her son’s face because he didn’t get dressed for school fast enough.
According to court documents, Madras Elementary staff called police last week when the 6-year-old arrived with a bite mark on his cheek. He said it was from his mother, Miko Cooper.
Officers questioned Cooper, who said the boy was bitten by his brother, although investigators said the size of the bite mark is consistent with an adult.
Cooper was arraigned Thursday on charges of third-degree assault and first-degree criminal mistreatment.
She’s due back in court next month.
