Law Named for Murdered Bend Woman Heads to Governor’s Desk

Three years after Kaylee Sawyer’s murder her family traveled to Salem for the vote on Kaylee’s Law, a bill that could help prevent another murder like Kaylee’s at the hands of a campus security guard. The bill was passed unanimously and now heads to Governor Kate Brown’s desk.
