Oregon State Police say a trooper found nearly 15 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl pills during a traffic stop in Klamath County earlier this month.
OSP said it happened Oct. 18 on Highway 97 just south of Klamath Falls. The SUV was stopped for a lane violation.

During the stop, the senior trooper noticed signs of “criminal activity,” OSP said, and the vehicle was searched.
The senior trooper allegedly found approximately 10 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, three pounds of suspected heroin, and 1.4 pounds of suspected counterfeit pills containing fentanyl. All of it was concealed in the vehicle, OSP said.
The driver, a 30-year-old Wapato, Wash., man, was taken to the Klamath County Jail.
