Job interview interrupted when mom accidentally drives through building

A woman reportedly fell asleep in her car, pressed the gas pedal and crashed through a Subway in Redmond – all while her child was inside interviewing for a job.

Redmond Police said the incident happened Friday afternoon at the Subway on SW Highland Avenue. After falling asleep, the mom apparently pressed the gas pedal, sending the car into the restaurant.

The crash happened just a few feet away from where the driver’s child was interviewing for the job. Nobody was injured.

Redmond, OR – A female adult driver reportedly fell asleep while waiting for her child to finish a job interview at Subway on SW Highland Ave. After falling asleep, the gas pedal was inadvertently pressed and the vehicle crashed through the building. The crash happened Friday, October 25, during the afternoon. No one was injured, though the crash happened a few feet away from where the driver’s child was in the middle of a job interview with the business manager.

No word on whether the kid got the job, but Redmond Police said mom got a ticket.
