JCSO seeks info on Redmond man whose body was found near Madras

A body found Thursday near Madras was identified late Friday as 51-year-old Brian Jones of Redmond.

Jefferson County Sheriff Jim Adkins said investigators now need the public’s help with information about Jones and his whereabouts Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

His body was discovered around 6 a.m. Thursday by a passing driver off Highway 126 and Danube Drive north of Madras.

Adkins is asking anyone who saw Jones or his car to contact Detective Tyler Anderson at 541-475-2201.
