Formal Dedication of Sister’s First Roundabout

After more than a decade of trying to solve a traffic trouble spot in Sisters, city officials held a formal dedication for the roundabout at Highway 20 and Barclay Drive today. Located on the west side of Sisters, this roundabout will help with the traffic flow for an average of more than 15,000 vehicles per day during the height of summer. The roundabout art was approved by voters and is part of Oregon’s official Scenic Byways, and shares the “Land of Contrasts” theme that is found across all scenic byway projects.
