To prevent wildfires in our area, fire restrictions in wilderness areas around Central Oregon take effect tomorrow.
Areas include Mount Thielsen, Diamond Peak, the Three Sisters, Mount Jefferson and Mount Washington.
Starting tomorrow you cannot have any open fires in those areas.
If you insist on a nice campfire, just head to a designated camping area where fire pits are built up.
