Sunriver has been the playground of the Pacific Northwest since 1968. Located southwest of Bend near the base of the Cascade range, Sunriver’s 3,300-plus acres are bordered on the west by more than five miles of Deschutes River frontage and on the north by the Deschutes National Forest. The unique forest environment of ponderosa and lodgepole pine is on the edge of the high desert to the east. With an average of 300 days of sunshine each year, many residents of the wetter side of the Cascades (and others living worldwide), have vacation homes here. Sunriver vacation homes and condos can be found on the Internet, in magazines, and in classified sections of newspapers throughout the West.
