Destination Oregon: Fort Stevens State Park

It boasts one of the largest campgrounds in the nation, its origins date back to the Civil War and it’s the only American fort that was ever fired upon during World War II. For this week’s Destination Oregon, Dave Jones takes us to the 43-acre Fort Stevens State Park in Warrenton, on the northern Oregon coast.

A special thanks to our Destination Oregon sponsor, Bi-Mart, for giving us the time and resources to take you to some of the most interesting and beautiful places across our state with a new edition of Destination Oregon every Thursday night on Central Oregon Daily.
