▶️ Voting open for Deschutes Public Library pumpkin decorating contest

  |

What do Pikachu, Moby Dick and Voldemort all have in common? They are inspiration for this year’s pumpkin decorating contest at the Deschutes Public Library.

Submissions were last week and the public can vote starting Thursday. The only rules were the pumpkins couldn’t be carved and they had to be decorated based on a book character or on a book as a whole.

You can peruse the creativity at any of the public libraries except for Sunriver, which is under construction. You can also vote on the library’s website.

The winner will be announced Monday, Oct. 30.
