▶️ Deschutes Historical Museum celebrates 100 years since women won right to vote

One hundred years ago on Wednesday, the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, giving women the right to vote.

It was the culmination of a decades-long suffrage movement.

This and other voting milestones are being celebrated this week with the event Chalk to Vote.

Photojournalist Steve Kaufmann went to the Deschutes Historical Museum to see how they’re celebrating the anniversary.
