The Les Schwab Amphitheater has added two more big shows to its growing summer concert series.
The Old Mill venue announced this morning Dave Matthews Band would return to Bend on Wednesday, September 9th. On Tuesday it was announced award-winning singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile will also return to the LSA stage on Saturday, May 23rd.
The announcements come on the heels of news earlier this month that country music superstar Luke Bryan will play two shows at LSA on July 23rd and 24th.
This is Carlile’s fourth time at the amphitheater. She last played here in 2018.
It’s Matthews’ third stop here. He debuted in 2014 and was last here in 2018. LSA officials say tickets will sell out in under a minute online when they go on sale February 21st at 10 a.m.
Tickets for DMB are $115. There’s a four ticket limit and delayed delivery to prevent scalping, according to LSA officials. You can get tickets online at https://www.bendconcerts.com/event-detail/DMB20
Also, folks can buy tickets in person at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District, which is now its own store next to Tumalo Art Co. There’s no camping overnight, 4 a.m. is the earliest you can start to line up.
Special online-only presale tickets for Carlile are available at http://bit.ly/BrandiLSA2020 beginning Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Use the Password = local.
General on sale starts Friday at 10 a.m. online at http://bit.ly/BrandiLSA2020 and in person at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District.
Ticket prices range from $54 to $131. The show is expected to start at 6:30 p.m.
Carlile’s 2019 album “By the way, I forgive you,” won a Grammy for Best Americana Album and the song “The Joke” won for Best American Roots Song. She was the most nominated woman in last year’s Grammy Awards.
Dave Matthews Band has sold more than 100 million concert tickets worldwide and 91 million albums and DVDs. And according to Wikipedia, the 2018 album, Come Tomorrow, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, making DMB the first band to have seven consecutive studio albums debut at the top.
