A 6-year-old Culver boy with a form of leukemia was granted his wish to visit the Smithsonian to see his favorite thing…. dinosaurs.
Nathan was diagnosed in June, 2018 and was immediately hospitalized at the children’s hospital in Portland.
After weeks of treatment, his leukemia is in remission. And with that good news came some more – he was also eligible for a Make-a-Wish.
Nathan and his family got to see plenty of dinosaur fossils and got to explore more of the nation’s capital on their trip.
They arrived back home to Oregon earlier this week.
