Country star Chris Young to kick off LSA concert season

The Les Schwab Amphitheater concert season will start earlier this year than ever before with country music star Chris Young hitting the stage Friday, May 8th.

Young will be joined by former American Idol winner Scotty McCreery and Payton Smith on his 2020 Town Ain’t Big Enough Tour.

Online presale happens Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the password “local.”

General ticket sales open on Friday at 10 a.m. online and at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District.

Tickets are $65.

Young became a household name for country music fans in 2006 when he won the USA Network’s Nashville Star competition. The American Country Awards in 2011 named him the Breakthrough Artist of the Year and his single “Voices” was named single of the year.

McCreery won American Idol in 2011 and was named the Academy of Country Music’s Best New Artist.

It’s shaping up to be a big year for country music fans in Central Oregon.

In January LSA announced Luke Bryan would be playing two shows in July.

The 2020 LSA concert lineup now includes:

Luke Bryan – July 23/24
