Source on the Scene: Immersion Brewing Chili Cook Off

It’s Friday – time for another edition of Source on the Scene sponsored by Indian Head Casino.

This week, Central Oregon Daily’s Meghan Glova takes us to Immersion Brewing in Bend.

It started as a friendly in-house chili cook-off at Immersion Brewing. But it was so popular – and so delicious – they decided to turn it into a full-blown event.

The event happens Nov. 16 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Come down to the brewery to taste seven different house-made chili’s from the staff and help them crown Immersion Brewing’s chili champion!

To celebrate the occasion they’ll have a live music lineup to help digest that warm chili and cold crisp beer.

Source on the Scene: 10 Barrel’s Pray for Snow Party

In this week’s Source on the Scene sponsored by Indian Head Casino, Meghan Glova is praying for snow, just like the rest of us.

And there’s no better way of doing that than with a beer in hand and at a party with friends.

Source on the Scene: Swinging With the Stars

It’s Friday night, which means another edition of Source on the Scene, sponsored by Indian Head Casino.

Tonight Meghan Glova takes a look at one of Bend’s more popular fundraising events – Swinging With the Stars, a charity dance competition that benefits Sparrow Clubs of Central Oregon.

It takes some local “celebrities” way outside their comfort zone with the help of professional dancers.

The result is an entertaining evening that benefits an amazing cause.
