▶️ Boy Scouts Provide New Shelter for DCSO Rescue Animals

The goats and sheep at the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office rescue ranch have a new space to hang out thanks to a local Boy Scout.

Mitchell White and scouts from Troop 25 spent the summer building two enclosures at the ranch as part of his effort to achieve the Boy Scouts’ highest rank.

More than a dozen animals will use the enclosures – which went up just in time for them to escape Wednesday afternoon’s rain showers.

Anyssa Bohanan visited the ranch today and has more.
