Bend Police say they have information that a man wanted for a California murder could be in Central Oregon.
In a Facebook post, police say the suspect, William Joseph Henson, isn’t associated with a vehicle and is armed and dangerous.
Yuba County Detectives say Henson is wanted in connection with the shooting and subsequent hit and run fatality in Linda late last month.
A warrant has been issued for the 35-year-old from Marysville for the murder of 44-year-old Michael Sanchez of Yuba City; the motorcyclist killed as Henson sped away in a vehicle from the scene of a shooting just moments before the fatal collision, according to police.
Henson is also wanted for the attempted murder of the woman injured when he allegedly fired a gun toward a hotel parking lot, where a bullet struck the victim’s vehicle.
Henson is a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 5 ft. 9 inches tall and 135 lbs and has multiple tattoos including his neck and face.
Henson has address history in Sacramento and most recently Marysville.
If a member of the public sees Henson, call 911 and do not approach.
Investigators request if anyone has additional information related to the case or the location of Henson, please contact Yuba County Sheriff’s Department at 530-749-7777 or our email tip line on our website at https://sheriff.co.yuba.ca.us/Services/tip.aspx
