A Bend woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday after an alleged dog attack ended in the death of a man in the Juniper Ridge area.
Jessica Rae Charity is charged in Deschutes County with second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide in the death of Joseph Taylor Keeton.
According to court documents, three dogs belonging to Charity attacked Keeton. He was taken to St. Charles where he later died.
Charity’s trial is set for January 9, 2024.
