The City of Bend says it is hosting an informational meeting on Tuesday for the Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvement Project. The city says the project aims to improve Bend’s ability to deliver water and increase the system’s resiliency and reliability by installing new pipelines.
The meeting will focus on Phase One construction, which is scheduled to begin in June. The city says the project will be done in stages through the spring of 2024 to minimize traffic impacts.
Tuesday’s meeting is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Westside Church, 2051 NW Shevlin Park Road.
