Three fires in the span of two hours kept Crook County firefighters busy Tuesday afternoon.
The calls started around 11:52 a.m. when crews first responded to a hay fire in a barn along East Highway 126 that was sparked by a welder.
About 20 minutes later crews were called to field burn that had escaped to bushes and trees in front of a home on East Hwy 126 in Powell Butte. That fire caused some damage to utility lines nearby.
A third call came around 1:45 for a fire at a home on SE Pecos in Prineville. Crews found travel trailer in flames next to a single-family house.
The trailer was destroyed and the fire did some damage to the outside of the home, according to the fire department.
