Three teens were seriously injured Thursday morning in a car crash just west of Bend, according to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.

Sgt. Jayson Janes said alcohol appears to be a factor.

Deputies responded to a one-car crash just after 1 a.m. in the area of Skyliners Road near the bridge at Skyline Drive.

The caller said the car, a 1997 Honda CRV, had rolled and was on its top.

All three victims were 16-year-old boys, Janes said.

One needed to be cut from the CRV. All three were taken to St. Charles with serious injuries; one was taken by air amublance.

The crash remains under investigation, Janes said.
