Two people were arrested and two stolen vehicles were recovered Tuesday after a standoff at a mobile home park in Bend.
Bend Police officers conducted a stolen vehicle investigation in the Pines West Mobile Home Park around 4 p.m. when they discovered a Honda motorcycle reported stolen out of Clackamas.
Lt. Brian Beekman said officers learned 34-year-old Jordan Kenneth Ashley had driven the motorcycle to the mobile home and was inside the home.
Ashley had two warrants for his arrest and refused to come out of the home.
Members of the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team (CERT) responded to the scene and crisis negotiators were able to persuade Ashley to surrender and come out.
Ashley was arrested on two counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle and two probation violation warrants.
Sarah Vernon, 27, also came out of the house and was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Officers on the scene discovered a stolen Kia Optima from Beaverton also parked near the residence.
Both vehicles were recovered and will be returned to the victims.
Bend Police were assisted by the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff’s Office canine Ezel.
