A 21-year-old Terrebonne man was killed Monday night in a two-car crash on Highway 97, according to Oregon State Police.
The preliminary investigation revealed a Hyundai Accent, driven by Beauden Yetter of Terrebonne, was southbound near the O’Neill Highway intersection at 8:50 p.m. when it crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a Chevrolet Suburban driven by a 57-year-old California man.
The driver of the suburban and a passenger were taken to St. Charles with non-life-threatening injuries.
Yetter sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to OSP.
OSP was assisted by the Redmond Police Department, Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, Redmond Fire/Rescue and ODOT.
