▶️ Central Oregon flu cases spike; peak season on the way

Deschutes County health officials say there’s been a noticeable spike in Central Oregon flu cases in the last week.

The first week of December saw 36 people test positive for the flu – with more than 230 more cases reported just in the last week.

Crook and Jefferson counties are seeing similar numbers.

Central Oregon Daily’s Hannah Sievert talked with health officials who say the flu season may reach its peak here in the next few weeks.
