▶️ Bend High softball ready for state title run


High school softball season is officially underway and one High Desert team is ready for whatever comes their way. 

Several Bend Lava Bear softball players consider this team their family and expect big things this season.

According to head coach Tom Mauldin and Athletic Director Lowell Norby, three PAC-12 coaches were at Tuesday’s Bend High versus Ridgeview game, scouting multiple Bend High Athletes.

Oregon State University and the University of Oregon being two of them.

The Lava Bears won in five innings, 11-0.

The Oregon School Activities Association preseason coaches polls have the Lava Bears ranked No. 1 in 6A and also according to the OSAA ranked 47th in the nation.
