The Culver High School Wrestling team earned their 12th State championship in the last 13 years in February and added to the program’s reputation as a true wrestling dynasty in Oregon.

In a game with more emotional twists and turns than a classic wooden roller coaster, Matthew Prusak’s 4 yard touchdown reception with 45 seconds remaining lifted host Ridgeview to a thrilling 42-35 victory over intracity rival Redmond in a Special District 2 – North football game Friday evening.
Prusak also snared an 84 yard scoring catch to help earn the senior wide receiver earn The Center Foundation Player of the Game honors and lead Ridgeview to its first victory of the 2018 season.
Scoring aces and kills at crucial points in the match, Jade Waskom helped lead Summit to a 3-1 (25-18, 14-25, 25-21, 25-18) victory over host Mountain View in a Mountain Valley Conference volleyball match Tuesday evening.
For her efforts, the senior team captain earned The Center Foundation Player of the Game honors.
In the first ever meeting between the two schools in any sport, Carson Budke tossed four touchdown passes, including a momentum swinging 82-yard scoring aerial in the second quarter, to lead visiting Beaverton High School to a non-league 37-7 victory over Summit High School Friday night.
The junior quarterback completed 13 of 24 passes for 299 yards without an interception, earning The Center Foundation Player of the Game honors.
